Perhaps Ken Nordtvedt would be kind enough to comment on my newly posted
data below, which I read as Norse or Ultra Norse. For what it's worth, the
earliest patrilinear ancestor in my family is a blacksmith in Aarhus (probably
district and not town), Denmark, born about 1700. It has been speculated,
however, that the family may be refugees from Bohuslen after the Swedes took over.
