Chris,
What you need to do is explicitly tell the app what the first column is that
has any data. Do NOT use the automatic setting. From your description, I'm
going to assume you have one column (the first) with ID information and the
second column contains data for at least one participant. Set the parameter
'ID Column' to = 1 and the '1st Data Column' to =2.
