Subject: Haplo L - haplotype thoughts wanted

Dear List;

There is a haplotype in the Sorenson database that I am having a difficult
time classifying. It seems to share marker values with L2(?) haplotypes in
the Y-Haplogroup L Project. Y-DNA haplogroup L is found mostly in India and
Pakistan. The surname for the individual in Sorenson is *Amaral do
Vasconcelos* and Portuguese. Maybe this line had some connection to the
Portuguese presence in India and would support a Haplogroup L finding.

The L Project is at www.familytreedna.com/public/Y-Haplogroup-L and the
haplotype in Sorenson is listed below in FTDNA format. Whit’s Predictor has
it as first round J 36%, E3b 23% and second round J 15%, E3b 8%. Thanks so
much for any help.

Robert
