Dear John,

Y-GATA-C4 and DYS635 are definitely the same marker. The separate fields
was just an error from the programmer of Ysearch who didn't know this
because he isn't so much involved in the markers of other companies. I
have had a conversation with Max and they will remove the new field for
DYS635 asap and they will put a note at the Y-GATA-C4 marker. The
programmer is just out of town for two days but then he will imediately
correct this.

Until now I haven't been involved in the discussion of the FTDNA/EA
conflicting markers, but it seems that discussion takes a little bit
long now.
So for the sake of the customers' nerves I will try to setup a proposal
on how to to resolve nomenclature differences for all companies. Just
give me a couple of days to have a deeper look and formulate the proposal.

Thomas
