I have to look at this with some scepticism. In my WEBB Project, we have
had half a dozen different WEBBs claim descent from Giles Webb of Jamestown.
That's half a dozen different DNAs. I, for one, am skeptical that anyone has
a documented lineage to him (based on my examination of early VA records),
and I suspect that anyone who has registered with the Jamestown Society will
not submit DNA (even though obviously we cannot prove they aren't descended
from him). My suspicion is that they would find out their DNA doesn't agree
with each other!
