Oh Boy!

The Luddites are going to have a field day with that one. NARA did have a
flooded basement earlier this year? - hope the tapes were not destroyed.
The National Archives have lost or mis-filed a key document for my
genealogy - the application for a widow's pension related to the War of
1812. The pension was granted, but the application, which would contain
much of interest, is not to be found.
