I searched Google Scholar and found a reference giving allele frequencies.
The range was 8 to 17, and 10 was the second most common value.
YSearch only lists 11-13, an unusually small range of alleles. I wonder if
those values were just a place-holder until people had real data to report.
Probably not that many people have tried to input an value for DYS522. I'd suggest
contacting FTDNA about this issue.
