Subject: Null 425 and Scot I1b2a1

I now have 5 of 5 I1b2a1-Isles-Scot haplotypes (subclade of old I1c) which have null DYS425 and the new unique modal values of 12 at DYS537 and 11 at DYS640. If you have the English version of I1b2a1 I'd like to find out if the null at DYS425 is there or not, as well as the other two modal shifts? English I1b2a1 appears much older than the Scot I1b2a1 by variance measure.
The English I1b2a1 also looks closer to the Portugese I1b2a1-like haplotypes I have seen in the database of a Portugese paper by Beleza et al. It would be interesting to confirm that the Portugese haplotypes are M284+ but we have to find some from donors of this list willing to do the SNP test. Portugal is the only continental place I have seen any haplotypes which look like I1b2a1.
See spreadsheet of yhaplogroup I modal haplotypes at www.northwestanalysis.net (including scrolling to right to see 38-67 markers)
