No, when I said my father, I meant our father's lines. My brother and
I have same father. My brother took the test for me and now I am
having his swab done for the MtDNA Plus. We are not sure on who our
father's father is. We know what the birth certificate says but we
believe our grandmother was still playing hanky panky in the woodshed
with her first husband, though she was divorced from him and married
to our "grandfather". That line only has female ancestors now so I
can't ask them to do a test. I need a male for that. My brother is
23 at 390. The other markers mention match with what we have from FT.

Your brother is 25 at 390. You (you mean your father) is 23 at 390.
Did
you and your brother have different fathers?

23 at 390 is often (but not always, as it could simply be an old
mutation
from 24, for example) S21+ and indicative of continental origins and
perhaps
brought to the British Isles by AngloSaxon or Scandinavian immigrants
centuries ago.
