My Maternal Grandfather was a Welshman, from Cardiganshire in Central Wales,
and I would guess they had been there since there were people there. 6 foot
tall, 210 pounds, with the build of a linebacker. Take a look at Welshman

I also know a Spaniard who is anything buy short and dark (not that that's a
bad thing :-) I've seen pictures of Spanish models that I would have guessed
were Scandinavian.
I do believe there are trends in populations, but probably as many
exceptions as rules.
