Right you are! I'm glad somebody actually reads my posts and checks them out.
And it's DYS389-1, not DYS489 <g>. Different companies may use different
primers (shifted a few bases to one side or another), depending on how well they
work with a multiplex test. Multiplex tests allow you to combine tests for
several markers, but you have to make sure that the length of one PCR product
doesn't obscure the presence of another peak.
