Doesn't that depend on the objective? 12 markers is still useful to weed out
those that cannot possibly be related. I've paid for several 12's with the
same surname that have proven to be entirely different haplogroups. It would
be great to have them extended for the project as a whole, but for my
personal line I found all I needed to know from the 12 marker test.
