Every time you issue a query to the SMGF database, you may specify
what marker reporting conventions are to be used in displaying the
results. If you haven't consciously specified one, you may be seeing
the results with unexpected translations applied. SMGF leaves a cookie
on your machine to remember what convention you requested last time,
but if you switch to a different machine, you may have a different
cookie.
