Subject: [DNA] 49 S21 haplotypes on ysearch
Date: Tue, 5 Dec 2006 10:56:58 -0800 (PST)

I looked at John McEwan's latest update of the R1b SNP
page. There are now 51 S21+ results there, 49 with
ysearch IDs. I've used those ysearch IDs to do a
comparison of the 49 S21 haplotypes. Here's the link
to that comparison - http://tinyurl.com/y56z4m - and
here's the link to the genetic distance comparison -
http://tinyurl.com/vbdr6

One thing to notice is that 492=13 continues to hold
up as a strong indicator of S21+ status. There are 18
with a 492 value and 17 of these are 13.

I have the genetic distance calculations for the 49
with me as the standard. For those who want to
calculate GDs from some S21+ haplotype less oddball
than mine, here are the 49 ysearch IDs. Just put
whichever ID you want to be the standard as the first
ID.
