Ken,

I have a question regarding calculating an index of diversity across several
markers. Using Simpson's Index of Diversity 1-D on DYS390 only these are
what I got for the following 3 datasets:

Iberian origin (n=1,359) 44.2% diversity
Irish dataset (n=115) 61.7% diversity
R1b Project (n=700) 57.3% diversity

I would like to see how the diversity pans out over many markers, not just
390. What is the proper method of doing that? Is it an averaging of the
diversity results for all of them?
