Everybody in this list *is* respected. If Bill Gates joins the list then, as
far as his interest in genealogy is concerned I will respect him and his
comments. That his company is money-grabbing and a parasitic monopoly is
well-documented. 'Bastards' is a local term referring to individuals or groups
that act in a way that would be shameful to gradely parents; that too is
well-documented. None of it refers to any known members of the list.
However members of the list do appear to take more notice of those
money-grabbing bastards than of those advocating good practice.
Could we please now leave the matter to individuals to decide whether to spend
time (simple info in my sig.) to see what good practice is about? I'm now only
responding to direct comments - and I'd rather we stuck to comments about the
Roman genetic legacy in Britain (or not) than about Microsoft.
