(And, yes, you are correct on my ySearch ID. Sorry,
should have added that.)

Now for the difficult part. The gap's not going to get
any closer and most last-common-ancestor calculators
that I've seen don't even have an option for a genetic
distance of 3 even at 50 markers, which would mean 3
at 67 is still cutting close to the limits.

Do you know of any good calculators for distances that
would presumably be in the 3-7 marker range, for 67
markers? What information could be usefully extracted
from that kind of distance?

(I'd be hesitant to ask someone to spend perhaps
hundreds of dollars for an upgrade if there's good
reason to believe it wouldn't say much. On the other
hand, if there's an excellent chance it would provide
masses of useful data, then I'll do my level best.)
