Thanks to those on and off list who helped me better understand the
behaviour of DYS on palindromes. I share Peter's curiosity, and would like
to clarify that the difference between the AMH and the Irish Type III at
these three markers as indicated below is just a single mutation?
459a,b464a,b,c,dCDYa,b
AMH 9,1015,15,17,1737,38
Irish Type III 8,913,13,15,1736,38

Any thoughts on whether DYS 459 causes the
most instability on the palindrome. We have
19 participants in the main group of Kincaids
with a 9,9 at 459a,b and 12 of them (abt 63%)
also have mutations at either 464 or CDY.
