Ken,
I'm resending the J1 & J2 modal haplotypes because my other post seems
to have gotten lost somewhere ...
Hopefully, this one will make it through more promptly ...

Here is what I have for the J1 and J2 modals. I'll send the jpg's of the
histograms soon.
(hope it table below makes it through ungarbled!)

J1 & J2 modal haplotypes:
J1 J2 GD
DYS394 = 14 14 0
DYS388 = 16 15 1
DYS390 = 23 23 0
DYS391 = 10 10 0
DYS392 = 11 11 0

DYS389b = 17 16 1
DYS385a = 13 13 0
DYS385b = 18 16 2 (bi-modal in both J1 at 17/18 7 J2 at 16/17)
DYS426 = 11 11 0
DYS439 = 11 11 0 (bi-modal in J2 at 11/12)
DYS458 = 17 15 2 (bi-modal in J2 at 15/16)
DYS459a = 8 8 0 (bi-modal in J2 at 8/9)
DYS459b = 9 9 0
DYS455 = 11 11 0
DYS454 = 11 11 0
DYS447 = 26 26 0
DYS437 = 14 15 1
DYS448 = 20 21 1 (J2 bi-modal at 20/21, almost tri-modal in J2)
DYS449 = 26 29 3 (J1 bi-modal at 25/26, huge spread from 0 to 36)
DYS464a = 12 13 1 (J2 bi-modal at 12/13)
DYS464b = 14 13 1

DYS456 = 15 15 0
DYS607 = 14 14 0
DYS576 = 18 16 2 (J1 & J2 show alot of spread)
DYS570 = 18 17 1
CDYa = 32 35 3 (I'd say both J1 & J2 tri-modal)
CDYb = 36 38 2 (J1 tr-modal, J2 quad-modal)
DYS442 = 12 11 1 (J2 bi-modal at 11/12)
DYS438 = 10 9 1 (nice uni-modal split between J1 & J2)
DYS531 = 11 11 0
DYS578 = 8 7 1 (nice uni-modal split between J1 & J2,
important marker)
DYF395a = 15 15 0 (J2 bi-modal at 14/15)
DYF395b = 16 15 1 (nice uni-modal split between J1 and J2)
DYS590 = 8 8 0
DYS537 = 11 11 0
DYS641 = 10 10 0
DYS472 = 8 8 0
DYF406 = 11 11 0
DYS511 = 9 9 0
DYS425 = 12 12 0 (there are nulls, but they don't dominate)
DYS413a = 21 17 4 (J2b shows up 21 too, but not alot of data here
yet)
DYS413b = 22 17 5 (J2b shows up at 23, but little data so far)
DYS557 = 19 14 5 (J1 looks bi-modal at 18/19, good J1 & J2
discriminator)
DYS594 = 10 10 0
DYS436 = 12 12 0
DYS490 = 12 12 0
DYS534 = 15 15 0
DYS450 = 8 8 0
DYS444 = 12 13 1 (J2 looks bi-modal at 12/13)
DYS481 = 25 22 3 (J1 bi-modal at 25/26)
DYS520 = 21 21 0
DYS446 = 14 13 1 (J2a1k seems to have a modal at 15)
DYS617 = 12 12 0
DYS568 = 11 11 0
DYS487 = 14 13 1 (J2 bi-modal at 13/14)
DYS572 = 12 11 1 (J2 bi-modal at 10/11)
DYS640 = 12 12 0
DYS492 = 12 12 0
DYS565 = 11 11 0 (J2 bi-modal at 11/12)
DYS461 = 11 13 2 (J2 bi-modal at 10/13, J2 shows spread)
DYS462 = 11 11 0
A10 = 13 13 0 (J2 bi-modal 12/13)
DYS635 = 20 21 1 (J1 bi-modal at 20/21)
1B07 = 11 11 0
DYS441 = 14 14 0
DYS445 = 11 12 1 (the peak is actaully at the J2a1k=6 mark)
DYS452 = 10 12 2 (interesting marker)
DYS434 = 9 9 0
DYS453 = 11 11 0

I made judgement calls in some cases about the bi-modal, etc. You'll just
have to look at the histograms yourself ...
