Gary,
I will study this in a more in-depth way later, but my comment for now is
that you consider using the haplogroup names in the ISOGG Y-SNP Tree. This
is the most up-to-date comprehensive source of Y-SNPs available. The Tree is
on Version 2.01 and was last updated January 12, 2007. More changes are on
the way for haplogroup I, but the current version already recognizes that
I1c is an outdated tag.
