Aren't DYS 385a and 385b fast mutating? I keep in mind mostly that the
markers that have one letter followed by a set of numbers or letters, like
464-a,b,c,d, are designated that way because of something about them that
also causes them to mutate quickly. I don't clearly understand what the
mechanism is, but I mostly care about knowing which ones mutate quickly.

If they mutate so quickly that they can differ by three steps between 4th
cousins, I wouldn't count them as part of a cluster. I think that
sometimes these two markers are actually considered in clusters, but I would
only look at them. I'd base my judgment more on the slow mutating markers.
