Dienekes, what is the basis for these statements? There are dozens of
attestations of Thracian, Dacian, Dalmatian and Pannonian units in Britain
for nearly three centuries. See:
http://www.roman-britain.org/military/british_alae.htm
http://www.roman-britain.org/military/british_cohortes.htm
for several lists of them. The Balkans most assuredly did provide thousands
of soldiers to Britain for the Romans.

The clade is found at 2-3% on average in Britain, of which probably 85% are
E3b1a2, if Cruciani's average holds up. That is not an overwhelming number,
but is definitely present. You also seem to be arguing out of both sides of
your mouth, claiming that an EBA introduction of E3b to Britain would have
left a genetic imprint, but that a Roman introduction did not. Bear in mind
that there is NO clear archaeological evidence to indicate a Bronze age
introduction by E3b from the Balkans, apart from perhaps an accidental
introduction of E3b from the northernmost region of Thracian influence into
the neighboring Hallstadt culture. Yet, there is massive epigraphic
evidence of Balkan units in the Roman army in Britain. Which is more
likely?
