If you go to the section entitled, "Analysis of coding

It should be noted that this study was not intended as
an in-depth mtDNA investigation of the entire French
population, but merely of certain sub-groups, in
particular the populations of Brittany and the French
Pyrennes.

Thanks! I have only skimmed it so far, looking for data. So I probably
"glazed over" the "analysis of coding region" -- but I hadn't heard of the Livak
et al 1995 assay either. And I would still like to find the supplementals
:). I am disappointed that the H is all lumped together, and that they didn't
present a chart for each of their 12 locations.
