It depends on whose dates for I1a and other clades of I you are talking
about?

I am increasingly coming to a view based on variance (average squared
difference) studies and time-tagged phylogenetic trees that the clades of I
are substantially younger than most others assert. And these clades
branched apart with independent ancestral lines much before they found
their founders with decent demographic growth of descendants.
