You are very close to WC8K8, whose surname is a variant of yours. But WC8K8
is very, very interesting.

WC8K8 has DYS492=13, which is a strong indicator of membership in R1b1c9.
(FTDNA doesn't test for this, but EthnoAncestry does.) And his nearest
neighbor at 67 markers, 4XYPR who is a genetic distance of 7 away, also has
DYS492=13, as expected. But 2B6XG and EK6TG are only a GD of 9 away, and
have DYS492=12. Similarly, 7ET93 and MN8X3 are a GD of 10 away at 67
markers, and also have DYS492=12. Ordinarily, that would imply that these 4
men are not members of R1b1c9.

In short, either:

A) The crosstalk ('accidental convergence') between S21+ (R1b1c9) and S21-
(R1b1c*) is truly frightening, or

B) DYS492 is failing to predict the status of S21 correctly in some of these
cases.

If your own results come out as anomalous as those of WC8K8, I suggest you
consider getting an S21 test from EthnoAncestry.
