Hi
I had a maternal uncle 25-marker tested by FTDNA. He came back R1b1c
("tested"). He has many matches; most of them from Great Britain, or of
British ancestry. My grandfather was born in the Hedmark area of Eastern
Norway. (This is inland - not along the coast)
Does anybody have any guesses on what sort of R1b1c he is, based on
these 25 markers? He has 23 for DYS390 (R1b1c9? and/or Frisian?) His
Ysearch# is J5PPK.
What to test next - DYS464x, or upgrade to 37 markers? (67 will have to
wait, as well as more SNP testing)
Steve
