We don't really know how their society was organized. We can't
superimpose what we know historically of any particular culture and
say "that's the way it was at the time of Stonehenge's construction".
For all we know there was no such thing as serfdom, peasants, geburas,
gestihs, or even nobility in the way we interpret it in our recent
past during the beginning phases of Stonehenge. We cannot equate the
manpower and logistics of the way it was constructed even in
comparison to the Egyptian pyramids. There is very little to no
evidence telling us who built the great megalith of Stonehenge and
that includes a strata of society. The archers found are important
finds but it does not prove "they built it", for all we know they may
have been on a pilgrimage to Stonehenge after it was constructed, or
became prominent leaders who adopted the megalithic representation
into their belief system. Who really knows? Just because somebody is
buried near something doesn't necessarily mean they built it. All it
indicates is they associated with it whether as a human sacrafice or
an honorific burial; it's anybody's guess.
