For some days I have lurked reading posts. You listmembers have
conversations that I cannot follow due to lack of knowledge about subject
matter; however, I have seen no conversation about Haplogroup H, so am
jumping in to pose my question.
mtDNA testing revealed we are Haplogroup H, European Eurasian. A consultant
wrote and informed us that Haplogroup H has been found among American
Ojibway and Cherokee Indians.
We have been told by genealogists that we descend from Hilibi Creek and
Yamassee of SC and Roma.
I have been unable to find anything on the web to enlighten me regarding
Haplogroup H among any of those peoples.
Where might I look to find answers to my questions?
