Even with Genographic selected as the firm, they apparently want you to enter the numbers with 16 in front of them, i.e.,, 16129A, even though they are reported without the first two digits.

sons and I with the latest update to the SMGF database. The downside is
that I have not dealt with mtDNA much so don't know how to enter
values. Is there a good tutorial to read somewhere?
For example, my sons are findable in the SMGF database using the good
North Carolina surnames: Thigpen, Daniel, Woodard
From a National Genographic Project kit that I submitted for their
maternal grandmother I know that they are Haplogroup H, (Mitosearch
CFBS7) with HVR1 mutations = 129A, 153A, 362C, 482G, 526A
When I try to enter these values into the HVR1 section of the SMGF
database I get the message:
"Please enter mutations in the correct format and range. Examples:
315.1c 263G 523d "
Is there are conversion table that I need to check? Any tips on how to
proceed really appreciated.
