I was just comparing what David Wilson got from Ian Wilson's chart of H4, on
the derivation of his father's mtdna haplotype H4a1a, with Roostalu's H
phylogenetic tree, and I noticed some differences.

First, can anyone tell me how to find Ian Logan's chart of H4?

Any way, David Wilson lists differences defining H:
750G, 1438G, 4769G, 8860G, 15326G.

Roostalu lists 2708A and 7028C as leading to H.

David lists defining H4:
3992T, 5004C, 8269A, 9123A.

Roostalu lists
3992T, 5004C, 9123A.

David has differences to H4a:
4024G 14365T, 14582G.

Roostalu has
4024G, 14365T, 14582G.

David has defiing H4a1;
10044G.

Roostalu has defining H4a1 8269A. (David has that as defiing H4.)

David has defining H4a1a:
73G.

Roostalu has defining H4a1a: 10044.

Roostalu lists 73G only as defining H1a with 16162G.

The only one of these that would show in HVR1 and HVR2 is 73G. But David
also has 522- and 523- (deletions) in his haplotype; what is their
significance?

Yours,
