There have been a query or two to this list about the position of I think
it's actually 3388 in the H2a2 phylogeny. I found three sequences last
night that had an obvious branching toward 3388 instead of the CRS. Since
1438, 7469, and 750 weren't mentioned, their values are A. However, 8860G
and 15326G ARE listed. The post I saw specifically asked where 3388 fits
in the H2a2 phylogeny. Clearly from 750A it branches to 3388A instead of
to the CRS.

Test-Seq - gi|124494754|gb|EF418606.1| Homo sapiens haplotype H2a2
mitochondrion, complete genome

A263G 309insC 315insC C3388A A8860G A15326G A16235G C16291T A16293G
C16400T
Only 8850 and 16326 are not A.

Not sure where the third one went to at the moment.

>From Ian Logan:

EF418608 FTDNA Haplogroup H2a2 - is this the same one as above?

A263G, 309.1C, 315.1C, 3388A, A8860G, A15326G A15235G A16233G C16291T
A16293G C16400T
8860 and 15326 are not A.

3388 CRS is C.
