H165 (Balanta) clearly looks like typical R1b1c (i.e. M269+),
probably of recent European origin as the authors conclude. H165 has
DYS385=11,14 and is just a GD of 1 from the WAMH. It's too bad
they didn't test M269, but I don't think there is much doubt about
this one.
H166 (Fulbe) is a little less clear, however. His DYS385=13,15 is
unusual in R1b1c but not unheard of and the DYS438=12 is typical
R1b1c. On the other hand, he is not far genetically from confirmed
R1b1* (e.g. Lumsden, Malugani, and Saxton from Clusters 4 and 5).
And the Cameroonians with R1b1* (P25+, M269-) are also Fulbe, so this
one is hard to dismiss.
