Why not go to Comedy Central and see exactly what was said? It's only a
five-minute clip; it's not like you have to watch the whole show:

In the "MOST RECENT VIDEOS" window, use the backward/forward triangles on either
side of the play button until the text under the window reads:

"PLAYING: Dr. Spencer Wells"

Colbert's show is on Comedy Central, not Nova or Discovery. It gave Colbert
something to joke about and Spencer Wells some publicity for the Genographic
Project. It wasn't meant to be academically satisfying.
