KEN: I think "invader" is not the best choice of nouns to describe various
contributions to the Isles gene pool. But I think I understand what you
mean --- AngloSaxon or Scandinavian?

Anyway, it is not clear that Oppenheimer and some of these other book
writers know the distinction between continental I1b2a and the I1b2a1-Isles
? They suggest the bulk of the I1b2a got to the Isles pre-Roman. I tend to
disagree, seeing evidence only that I1b2a1-Isles probably got there
pre-Roman, and that the bulk of the I1b2a-continental in the Isles can be
blamed on the AngloSaxons and Danish settlers.

What about I1a-AS7E? Do you have any idea when it might have arrived in the
British Isles? Did it originate there since it hasn't been found on the
Continent or is it more likely to have become extinct on the Continent?
