I am reminded of one of the numbers from "The King and I:" Yul Brenner,
playing the King of Siam, sang, "If my friends are strong with power to
protect me, might they not protect me out of all I own?"
FTDNA is more conservative about what they will release than I am. If the
"privacy" were more "protective" than theirs we'd be out of business.
I wouldn't mind the insurance company legislation. Aside from that the
government messing around with it is the largest fear I've encountered
(aside from evolution).
