NO ROBERT!
I meant sorenson's I tested free with Sorenson's, My Brother tested free
with Sorenson's..
Where these markers came from I have no idea because neither of us tested at
RG but those Y - MALE markers were on my (FEMALE) results page...
The only test I took was with SORENSON"S FREE TEST... my brother tested at
FTDNA, EA, DNAFP and sorensons... no one else and no markers results were
transcribed to RG...
Where or how they got there beats the hell out of me!
instead of saying sorenson's I should have put DNA.ANCESTRY Their proper
name by the way!
I assumed they came from Sorensons because no other testing company would
give my brothers results to dna.ancestry.com..... and no other company would
give a female a males results...
ftdna was Y-GATA-H4 =12 (sorry)
dna.ancestry H4= DNA ANCESTRY>COM IS DOWN RIGHT NOW so?? on their number???

Nelda,
I think you mean RG. When talking about nomenclature, you need to specify
the marketing firm. Both RG and DNAH use Sorenson Genomics for testing, but
use different nomenclatures. SMGF also tests there, but uses a third
nomenclature.. However, it is transparent if you use their entry table.
Strangely, they have not converted the RG standard to the updated
RG/Ancestry standard.
FTDNA has three nomenclatures: FTDNA, Y-Search and Advanced Lab.
To convert from RG/Ancestry to FTDNA, you need to:
DYS441 Subtract 1
DYS442, Subtract 5
Y-GATA-H4, subtract 11
Y-GATA-A10, subtract 2
Thus, DYS442 is a match. Please recheck the Y-GATA-H4 result. 11 is usual
for R1b and it is not a particularly fast marker. DYS449 was unaffected by
the changes.

Can someone tell me the markers that are used to test at Sorenson's?
Also if these match?.. or adjustments needed to them??
sorensons dys442 =17
ftdna dys442=12
~~~
sorensons dys449=32
ftdna dys449=31
~~
S. H4=22
ftdna H4=12
I'm wondering if what I found at my DNA Ancestry.com account is the
sorenson's results??
But my record was recorded with Ydna results where, last I looked I was a
girl. Yes I tested at sorensons both my brother Ydna and me mtdna...??
