Dora,
Thanks for your reply. I was very taken back last night when I received that email early in the morning as I was trying to end my day before going to bed in which I didn't realize the email Mr. Tetley sent me had been posted to the list. I don't know Mr. Tetley and have never had contact with him before that email. I also didn't read his email correctly because he was talking to two people and I didn't catch it until after I had posted my first reply to him which caused another email to be posted from me.
Mr. Gabennesh was the one who first emailed me and we had a couple of very nice conversations and he was replying to a posting that I posted to the list. Our conversation contained everything we had been talking about on the list and we had a very nice interaction. And I might add there was nothing on there to embarass Walt because it pertained to everything on list. that we had been talking about. I feel Mr. Tetley wasn't following the thread and Walt and I were on target to the content on the list.

She could quote from a private e-mail as long as she cites the source, just
like one can quote from anything else. If private e-mails are copyright,
then quoting from them is fair use. Privacy is not particularly protected
by copyright law, and there's no other law pertaining to privacy of e-mails.
However, I really think that issues of what Marianne cites from a personal
e-mail from Mr. Gabennesch are between her and Mr. Gabennesch.
I don't understand why you'd be worried about how Marianne got information
from Mr. Gabennesch. Do you not want her to have information from Mr.
Gabennesch, or not want us to have this particular information from Mr.
Gabennesch?
Yours,
