To some degree I believe they hyped the "conventional wisdom" about hordes
of AngloSaxons coming to the Isles, so they could claim they changed the
story. The Weale and Capelli data pointed toward 30 percent infusions in
eastern England, and I think that is still the ballpark figure today.
Marketing books these days is lots of making over statements.
