Well that's a good idea Larry. I think there a lot of us who want to know our deep ancestry too. So, there is a common bond there. That is one aspect to try and promote. :)

I suggested that deep ancestry as revealed in Y-DNA testing would be of interest to them. I also pointed out that testing through the Genographic Project was considerably cheaper than he quoted. Maybe once they have their haplotypes (along with their haplogroups) they will transfer the haplotypes to FTDNA since it is free. Then maybe their interest in their North American cousins might pick up - especially if they are doing a one-name study.
