Well, Ian, I'm glad that most people are getting results to GenBank.
I appreciate Anne's help in directing me to Linda Jonas, and I emailed her the first of last week but haven't heard back from her yet. I encourage my surname project participants to put their results on ysearch or mitosearch, but ironically I've been in the dark about what to do about sharing my own FGS results or how to view and compare them with others. I wouldn't know now if I hadn't gotten back on this list.
And even though I got my results back from FTDNA online, I can't recall any snail mail certificate, much less five. I've had a lot going on in the past few years, though, so maybe I overlooked some things.
I did have Ann Turner write the report for me last year which was very helpful. : )
Feeling dumb in California,
Mitzi
PS
HRV1 results on the maternal line of two of my grandchildren recently came back, and there are no matches at all even on mitosearch, mtDNA Ancestral origins, etc., just nothing. She is J* and I played around with the specific mutations on mitosearch. A few mutaions were common, but as I added more, a match was not even close. The user ID is XB4JP.
A son-in-law whose mtDNA is also J* has nearly 800 matches on his HRV1 results.
