Yes, but my paper did not extend to finding out the laws of each state
on the subject! It described the issues around direct-to-consumer
genetic testing that are being debated, and the positions taken by some
of the parties involved. Perhaps the Genetics and Public Policy Center
or the Genetic Alliance might be able to direct us to information on
specifics like this. Maybe I'll give them a call, since I have taken
the day off. But don't everyone get your hopes up, I may not be able to
find out anything yet.

I would very much appreciate it if someone would post a longer extract
of the consent agreement, so we can find out exactly what it says. I
imagine there are some people on this list who are ordering the test
right away? Since I might want to order it later, I don't know that I
want to create a username and password now, to gain that access, since
that could confuse things later on.
