Here is the editing of "Stevo" (who is well known on this List; and on other DNA forums under that "handle"):

"There is no real evidence for the genetic claims made in this section. They are the speculations of a hobbyist and are supported only by his own web sites and blogs."
I don't have a blog.
My paper is found at www.davidkfaux.org/Cimbri-Chronology.pdf. The fact is that I am a "hobbyist", but do incidentally have a doctorate in Medical Sciences and co-founded a DNA testing company. He is clearly dismissing the work of many of us who may not be population geneticists. I have never heard that this person has any credentials whatsoever but yet can step forward and dismiss my (or your) work because he has a longstanding axe to grind. One thing I do know is that while I have written a 92 page manuscript on the topic he has done NOTHING in the way of researching this topic, and is best known for scathing criticisms of the work of others (including Underhill's paper by Myers et al., 2007).
Why am I posting this here? Because the whole matter stems from a posting I made here over a year ago and there is a long history - who will he target next? Watch your back. You might want to see if what you have written on Wiki or elsewhere has been arbitrarily edited out.
I will drop the matter as I know that moderation will follow - meanwhile I will contact Wiki and try to sort things out.
David K. Faux.
