Well, in defense of DeCODEme, in their so-called "Intelligent SNP Selection," they do target, as mentioned before, three "private" mutations on chr-Y (rs2032637 - M72; rs2032613 - M107; and rs13447345 - M297), of which might also be in 23andMe's custom set. If so, one wonders why these three? Why not M37, M56, etc?
I do agree that the mtDNA resolution of both products is not that great, and the "no calls" are disappointing, too.
On a more positive note, I understand that deCODEme may have in place by January 11 a "raw SNP" web-download available, so that's encouraging for those of us who insist on getting what we pay for.
