Dennis,
Specifically, I wish to download all I1a records into Excel.
I go to Ysearch, click on 'Search by Haplogroup', select 'I1a' and obtain a list of 1914 user(s). Here I can "Check All" then click "Compare". I get the Research Tools screen with a window containing all 1914 UserIDs. I click "Show" comparative Y-DNA results. Here I get the first 145 records, not 1914 records. To get the NEXT 145 records I must manually check the records and do it again...and again... What am I doing wrong?

Ken,
I often download part of a project spreadsheet as follows:-
Go to the project that you require data from.
Display the spreadsheet by using the Y-Results button.
Click on the first record you require, then holding down the shift key, drag
the mouse down to the last record you require.
Ctrl-C to copy the data.
Open a new worksheet in Excel
Right click in the first cell
Select 'Paste Special' and 'Text'
The data appears in the new Excel spreadsheet
Hope this helps ... I love hearing of other peoples tips too!

Explain. I have never seen a button or otherwise allowing only part of a
project spreadsheet to download?
