A number of these new markers certainly distinquish I1a from other
haplogroups. But doing that is not a difficult chore. I have been looking
to see if some of them reliably DIVIDE I1a (or any other I haplogroup) into
sub-clades. So far not too much luck, but any ideas along this line are
welcome.
