Calling your I1b1 proposal a "hypothesis" is no insult, I think, if
you assume - as I did - that he meant it in the scientific sense of
that word. And regardless of your skill at using STRs to define
clades (a skill I don't personally question), the caution about
repeatability is a good one.
In any event, at least he didn't call your clades "racist".
