I agree with most of what you say, Peter, but I would sure hate to see FTDNA
drop their 12 marker test, and I asked Ancestry to keep theirs. While the 12
markers are, perhaps, not very useful for someone just getting started and
wanting to find a connection, I have found them very useful establishing "no
relationship" if I'm paying for the test.
