Hi Herb,
Keep on questioning things! But for funding-challenged folks, then I
urge the 25 marker test as a starting place. I only allow for the
12-marker test with folks who have no probable test outcome or else who
are so far removed from our prior tesing participants as to make them
wholly alien to our testing efforts. We are hoping to have the 'alien'
part of that proven wrong.
BTW- I did raise questions regarding the home of Revolutionary War hero
Brig. General Andrew Pickens on the campus of Clemson University. My
comments to an individual who is a significant author of SC history may
have caused some change in practices regarding historical preservation.
Although, if university officials aren't interested in preserving the
family properties / homes of Revolutionary War Patriots, then what we to
do? Hunt them down and kill off the official scum? That's not likely.

However at this time of change I believe from what I have seen there is more uncertaintity in the methodology, people opinions and people's calculations and the data base to show much more than just the simple 12 marker results that reveals a Haplotype has shown.
