The spreadsheet shows what you need to do to make equivalent to the ISFG standard but can be used to swap between the various
laboratory's nomenclature
Ancestry matches ISFG at DYS441 and DYS442. FTDNA results need to be adjusted by adding 1 and 5 respectively to match ISFG.
So to convert from Ancestry to FTDNA you would subtract 1 and 5 from your Ancestry figures as in your examples.
GATAH4.1 is a little different
You would subtract 1 from Ancestry GATAH4.1 to be equivalent to ISFG standard however FTDNA results require 10 to be added to match
ISFG
So to convert from Ancestry to FTDNA a total of 11 must be subtracted from your Ancestry result. Your 21-11 = 10

Hi Dennis,
Thank you... If I understand it correctly it goes:
Ancestry DYS441=12 for ftdna you would minus 1 from the 12 to equal dys441=11
ancestry dys442=17-5=12
ancestry GataH4.1=21-10=11
Correct? Nelda L. PercivalCopy Right information:
