I faced the same problem when looking for haplotype blocks in my personal
study of our familial hearing impairment. I developed some rather kludgy methods
as work-arounds, which involve a BASIC program and an Excel spreadsheet
formula to concatenate adjacent blocks when interrupted by one no-call. I am packing
up for a trip to the mountains, and I won't be back until Thursday. I don't
have that stuff installed on my laptop. If you haven't developed your own
solution by then, please write again and I'll tell you what I've done, even if it
embarasses me because it's so primitive :)
